A Diamond in the Rough

Your voice is needed 

Your words are needed 

You are needed 

In this season 

In this life

For such a time as this.

You are needed in the now 

As your story matters 

Your thoughts matter 

You matter

And people are waiting 

They are craving 

For what’s hidden deep inside of you.

Deeply planted from the Kingdom 

From the Holy Spirit 

Found in that secret place 

Is hidden in You. 

So keep writing 

Keep seeking 

Keep creating 

Because what’s inside of you 

Has value 

Maybe your purpose 

Was to reach one person 

Who may need a touch from

The Prince of Peace 

As your words  from Him 

Bring healing to those who 

Are desperate in this season 

Desperately in need 

As there is more. 

Your story isn’t over 

The pens right here 

And it’s waiting for you 

To press into the battle zone 

It will be tough 

But through Christ He’s already won 

He is enough 

As the story’s already written 

As it begins and ends with 

His love 

They are waiting 

They are crying out 

As your voice is needed 

Your story matters

Every demon 

Must scatter 

Because you are His masterpiece
